FCAA Meets With Congressman Rutherford

The First Coast Apartment Association recently met with Congressman Rutherford, where we shared information about the apartment industry and discussed NAA’s priorities. Through these types of meetings, FCAA attempts to build relationships with elected officials from all levels of government to bring housing affordability and other industry challenges to the forefront of the conversation. 

NAA’s priority bills for the overhaul of the Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Yes In My Backyard Act (YIMBY). We also shared FAA’s most recent research project, regarding property tax discounts and the future housing supply gap. Meeting with elected officials is an important key piece of our advocacy efforts.
