FCAA's Next Gen Committee Delivers Donation to K9s For Warriors

The First Coast Apartment Association’s Next Gen Committee recently had the honor of visiting K9s For Warriors to personally deliver the proceeds from our July fundraising event, Fore A Cause.

Hosted at Fore Score Golf Tavern, Fore A Cause was a unique charity golf simulator event that brought our industry together for a night of fun, networking, and purpose. Thanks to the generosity of our members and sponsors, we raised $2,300 to support the life-changing mission of K9s For Warriors—providing highly trained service dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma.

During the visit, committee members toured the impressive K9s For Warriors campus, met some of the staff and service dogs in training, and saw firsthand the impact our support will have on the lives of veterans and their new canine partners.

FCAA is proud to support this incredible organization, and we are especially grateful to our Next Gen Committee for leading this initiative with passion and purpose. This was more than just a donation—it was a chance to give back to those who’ve served and to help change lives, one paw at a time.
